Influenced by her experience working in cinema and television, the artist, Suzanne Ferland, approaches her photography and contemporary painting with a very distinctive touch.

Her expert eye picks out and transforms the photographic elements that are so characteristic of her work. She adapts and reframes the images she selects, incorporating them into her paintings.

With the Passages series, the artist reflects on the perception of space and the evidence of human activity. She depicts fragments of reimagined landscapes in a narrative sequence, like a travel diary, or poses the question « What do we leave behind »
