Please review the eligibility and selection criteria before submitting an application:

Eligibility criteria:

Artists who have presented their work at the Centre must wait five years before resubmitting an exhibition project.

• The artist must be recognized by their peers or be enrolled in a recognized educational institution.
• Artists submitting an application must reside in Quebec.

Selection criteria:

• Preference will be given to original projects with an innovative approach.
• The Exhibition Centre wishes to make different types of visual art accessible and to represent the diversity of people and media.
• In the interests of fairness and representativeness, the Centre encourages members of visible minorities to submit projects.
• Projects that promote community engagement will be prioritised.

What the Centre offers: 

• A technical team for installation and dismantling.
• Transportation of works from the artist’s studio to the Centre.
• A fee based on CARFAC royalty rates.
• Accommodation (per diem) and travel expenses.
• Certain items of furniture (pedestals, display cases, etc.) for the duration of the exhibition.

Items to submit: 

• A description of your artistic approach (500 words maximum).
• A presentation of your exhibition project (500 words maximum).
• A PDF file (10 MB maximum) including:
  • 10 works with images, web links and, if desired, titles, media used, dimensions.
  • Your artistic CV.
