Yvonne L. Bombardier Library is a public library for local residents in the Valcourt region and it offers the kind of facilities normally associated with much larger cities.

Open 33 hours a week, the Library has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and subscribers have access to more than 50,000 items, including books, magazines, games, DVDs and CDs.

Now a partner in the Réseau BIBLIO de l’Estrie network, the Yvonne L. Bombardier Library can offer several free online services such as digital books and publications borrowing

Free services for the general public

A number of free library services are offered to non-subscribers, who have access to the following:

• Our computer terminals
• The Wi-Fi network
• Work tables (with a view of the park) to read or do research in comfortable, peaceful surroundings
• The daily newspapers (La Tribune and La Voix de l’Est)
• Dictionaries and encyclopedias
• Genealogy directories
• Second-hand books (which are for sale)
• A coffee or a hot chocolate for only $2 – a great way to round out your visit!
