The artist and author Luc Pallegoix has created two photographic series that oppose and yet compliment one another. Le cerf ectomorphe – The queer deer is a sequence of images showing a herd of “men deer”. These human beings with animal heads, intermingle and observe us in a kind of zoomorphic, quirky human comedy that reflects modern life.
The series Les petits mondes (« Little Worlds ») offers an altered vision of our environment, inviting the viewer to see the world with all its nuances and splendour. Fascinating and all-encompassing, the exhibition raises as many questions as answers, revealing that even if one’s body is fragile and in bad shape, there is beauty nonetheless.
