Originally from Nice but living in Quebec for the past twenty-five years and in Knowlton for the past few years,  Michel Farruggello uses acrylics as his medium of choice in a style that is at once classical and contemporary.  Over the years different themes have distinguished his painting.  Following an original period of more abstract work, there came other waves, first urban, then marine, with  subjects  such as arches, barns and cathedrals  being woven into his art.
