September 30 to December 14, 2008

More than 60 unique and original works, themed around the topic of water, will be presented by the artists’ group – Autour de nous – along with their guests. Through a variety of mediums, poets, painters and sculptors will interpret this essential natural resource that defines so much of Quebec.

The province is blessed with copious quantities of water – the source of all life, that flows and transforms itself in all manner of ways. Reflections, wild undulations, hissing waterfalls, gentle streams… Sometimes water looks like a sculpture, sometimes sheer poetry. Water – a topic for today and food for thought. Always fascinating, always beautiful, this effervescent exhibit (pun intended!) runs from September 30 – December 14, 2008. The exhibition has been staged in conjunction with the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Regional Museum.
