Through her art, Brigitte Dahan focuses on how human beings react with nature, the relationship between individuals and groups and the cycle of life. She depicts these subjects close up and at a distance – from microscopic to macroscopic – allowing her to question the origin, the nature and the purpose of life from very different perspectives. Her work examines these topics on a cellular level, on an individual level and as a group, showing how they relate to their surroundings.

A sculptor and ceramist, Brigitte Dahan lives and works in Bromont. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Université du Québec à Montreal (UQAM), she continued her training at the Visual Arts Centre in Montreal and the Art VMR Ceramic Studio (among others). Working with clay became a major interest and it influences her artistic approach.
